Introduction:
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist with an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy. A Gestalt centre graduate, I offer short-term, long-term and open-ended therapy. I am dedicated in supporting others to maximise their capacity for growth and change in their lives.
Background:
I have over 25 years experience working in the NHS. With a professional background in nursing, I worked clinically for over 15 years in a variety of specialities. I have also worked as a mentor, supervisor, manager, and coached staff.
Experience:
I have experience working with clients going through a variety of personal situations such as stress, trauma, loss, family issues, grief, abuse, panic attacks and clients that maybe feeling anxious, overwhelmed, sad, and struggling with low self-esteem, low self-confidence, depression.
How I work:
Upon receipt of an enquiry, I usually begin with having a brief telephone call to see if a free initial meeting would be supportive. The initial meeting will give us the opportunity to explore, in more detail, what you want from therapy, ask questions and to get to know how I work. I usually meet clients on a weekly basis at the same time each week. It is important to me that I provide a safe, supportive and creative space.
